Odoo is a free software designed to be a free version of ERP (enterprise resource planning), specific software made up of an integrated suite of business modules, including customer relationship management (CRM), e-commerce, accounting, billing, inventory management, project management, warehouse management, financial management, manufacturing and purchasing. Born as tinyERP, then called openERP and now ODOO, the current version is 12, with maintains the 8 giving as a dirty previous.

It is mature software and competes with the great business and consequently requires lots of customization to suit each environment.
